Dolly Parton Is Forced To Make A Dramatic Move To Save Her 9-Year-Old Costar's Life

Believe it or not, angels really do walk among us every day — and one of them might just be named Dolly Parton. A country icon known for her flash and big personality, it's Dolly's kind heart and generosity that have made her more than just another Hollywood star. Yet Dolly's selfness nature goes beyond just charity, and after making a dramatic move to save her young co-star's life, it's safe to say she might really be an angel after all.

A Fitting Role

In fact, that's exactly what Dolly had been going for in the first place. The star of the 2020 Netflix film Christmas on the Square, Dolly was actually set to play an angel sent to help stop a greedy landowner from turning a small town into a shopping mall. Dolly, it seemed, captured that holy spirit right as she stepped on set.

Beloved By All

A total legend, she captivated the cast and crew right when production began. "When Dolly walked in she smelled like heaven," recalled Talia Hill, Dolly's nine-year-old co-star. "She greeted everyone even if you were a trashcan person. It was such a great feeling."

A Powerful Presence

Even Talia's older brother Tristan was left starstruck by the singer: "When you think of Dolly Parton, you are just like, 'It is Dolly Parton,' but when you actually see her you are like, 'Wow, it's Dolly Parton,' being in her presence lifts you. She is so amazing."

Personal Motivations

Yet the country star didn't cultivate this angelic image overnight. Since the mid-1980s, Dolly had been working tirelessly to improve the lives of others through her Dollywood Foundation. This desire to help those in need, however, actually came from an intensely personal place.
